Captain Craig
Saw a headline(didn't bother to read the article) that said Shatner is not having any role in the film. Too bad, I figured for the 50th Anniversary they'd try and work him in somewhere.

That's cause JJ's Star Treks are not really Star Trek, they're his auditioned tapes for Star Wars. I have since saw the teaser trailer twice in theaters. I like it too. Actually looking forward to it.
a2k
Wish the trailer had a little more serious tone. Maybe it's an overcompensation for the "darkness" of the previous one.
grim22
The teaser views are the lowest among any of the recently released trailers and teasers Trailer view tracker - updated table as of today. I don't track Facebook views since not all movies post on Facebook, for example Star Wars hasn't posted any of their trailers on Facebook, where as Furious 7 has 80M views just on Facebook. If they're just re-shooting individual scenes and not large parts of the movie then it's not an issue. They do desperately need a second trailer out soon though. kayumanggi
They are having re-shoots to add a character. The film, which we hear is undergoing some reshoots next week with Aghdashloo playing the role of the High Command of the Federation, is being directed by Justin Lin. J.J. Abrams is producing. However, the film is still on track to be released this summer, on July 22, from Paramount. As per the next trailer, Paramount might release it with TMNT II. Or that's too late?
