It won't make 750M, probably will be lucky to cross 700M.

Well it is when they spend too much money on production. It's the balance sheet that counts really. They do have to keep that in mind when they want to make multiple movies.

Spend 440 millions and then show us something like ASM2... So WRONG!

Seriously I don't know why that Marc Webb seems to be such a money sinker, first TASM cost more than 200M and TASM2 255M. It's certainly not the actors fee. Is closing Times Square at night or some streets to film a car chase reminiscent of SM3 cost that much? (Even if it's totally possible to shoot on location in Pittsburgh or Cleveland and make believe it was shot in the middle of Manhattan, see the Avengers)

VFX are not even flawless, up to snuff and groundbreaking to justify its price tag.(OMG, the scene when CG Spidey is swinging his way to Electro's lair dodging his lightning strikes was awfully videogamey)

Movies are expensive, that's just the way it is, you wouldn't believe how much a simple short movie done properly costs (I'm finding out right now).

Let's just stop blaming Webb, remarks on CG work have been unanimously very positive, I mean, from people who actually saw the movie.

Among the movie's new foreign markets, South Korea led with $13.4 million, despite the ferry tragedy gripping the country. The movie opened to $8.9 million in Russia, followed by Italy ($6.5 million), Japan ($5.2 million), Taiwan ($4.1 million) and Venezuela ($1.5 million).

Amazing Spider-Man 2 stayed at No. 1 in the U.K., taking in $5.7 million for a total $27.8 million, while Mexico added $4.3 million for a total $19.5 million.

South Korea:only $0.4m ahead of the first one but the first one had big legs and this one won't

Russia:lower than the first one(of course)

Italy:higher than 1st one  really surprised

Japan:lower

Venezuela:little higher but won't have any legs

U.K:big drop and lower at the same point from the first one

Mexico:it is still lower at the same point from the first one

Should have released it closer to summer, rather than closer to Cap America.

Well, Sony certainly doesn't think that Cap is competition. Why would they? And Cap is already in its fifth week OS, so not exactly competition to Spidey right now either.
