Its an emerging market, Pretty sure TF4 will also set a new record.

China should do that number but not much more because TF4 is released 12 days after and that will kill it for sure

OD in South America: Not so great 

 

Argentina: 24148 Admissions (on par with Noah, almost 20% less than TASM2)

Peru: around 31k admissions (almost 50% less than TASM2)

Chile: around 70% less than TASM2

 

On the other hand, Godzilla took first place in Spain, even though not many people knew it opened one day earlier than usual...

Otherwise, it opening lower than TASM2 in a few markets is supposed to be surprising? It's going to do less than TASM2 OS, simple as that.

Well yeah, it is expanding as a market, but 2 weeks won't make a huge difference . TASM2 and TF4 (and maybe X-Men) were the contenders for #1 of the year (and all time), because we love superheroes and Transformers, but I didn't think Godzilla would be too. I mean, I knew it would be big, but not to the extent that it would open bigger than TASM2. So either that info is wrong, or Godzilla is doing much better than I thought.
