picores
mmmm, doing good in Italy but poor in South Korea? Anyway, if China delivers (90-100m), i think 400-450 OS should be attainable imo. Edited May 16, 2014 by picores
catlover
First day [*]in France: $1.6M [*]in Australia: est. $1.2M [*]biggest single day in 2014 in Indonesia http://www.thewrap.com/godzilla-box-office-openings Not bad, that lizard is still popular. And it's gonna be huge. Wait, what?? Didn't TASM2 just break the OD record? And biggest single day? I know the hype is HUGE here, but It's bigger than Spidey's 1st Sat and Sun? So is Godzilla the most popular superhero now? lol

Hernan Gonzalez
Godzilla: OD in South America: Not so great Argentina: 24148 Admissions (on par with Noah, almost 20% less than TASM2) Peru: around 31k admissions (almost 50% less than TASM2) Chile: around 70% less than TASM2 On the other hand, Godzilla took first place in Spain, even though not many people knew it opened one day earlier than usual... A Marvel Fanboy
So it will only do 300m os. how disappointing.
Manu Delpech
Fortune teller firedeep giving his predictions after only one day of release, amazing as always. Otherwise, it opening lower than TASM2 in a few markets is supposed to be surprising? It's going to do less than TASM2 OS, simple as that. 500-550 M WW is probably the target.
catlover
Its an emerging market, Pretty sure TF4 will also set a new record. Well yeah, it is expanding as a market, but 2 weeks won't make a huge difference . TASM2 and TF4 (and maybe X-Men) were the contenders for #1 of the year (and all time), because we love superheroes and Transformers, but I didn't think Godzilla would be too. I mean, I knew it would be big, but not to the extent that it would open bigger than TASM2. So either that info is wrong, or Godzilla is doing much better than I thought.
