acsc1312
I still think The Artist will win. Or Hugo. War Horse has dissapointed imo, not Spielberg's best.
Noctis
I think I'm going to boycott this year's Oscars. They look to be horrible.

Noctis
I'm not gonna watch because of Potter's snubs. Nothing more or less.
Ezen Baklattan
Agreed. The Artist, Young Adult getting oscar love? Give me a fuckin break I'd hardly say that Young Adult is getting love. It will get 2 nominations (Actress and Screenplay) at most.
Travod
Will you guys be here live when the nominees are announced? I make a party out of it at 8 AM.
fishstick
Somebody get this chick a zoot suit! She thinks she's James Dean. James dean is more feminine than she. Heck, her boyfriend Jeff is more feminine than she. Sumo wrestlers are more feminine than she.
CoolioD1
Man, what a shitty trailer. BCrystal is such an overrated host
Impact
Okay if there were 5 noms I say these would be the noms: The Artist The Decendents The Help Hugo Either Moneyball or War Horse
ravon80
I would love to see Hugo get some Oscar love in major categories. It was unexpectedly amazing. Edited January 6, 2012 by ravon80
4815162342
After seeing Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy I can understand why the critic groups and guilds haven't been more receptive of it. It's a very cold, clinical film that moves very deliberately with a sort of minimalist mindset.
rockNrollaDIM
Fincher- Director??? You don't think he'll get a nod? I think he could win, with the momentum from last year. Hey Noctis... what's up. Haha
CoolioD1
I just saw a story on BBC News about animals getting Oscar recognition. And how the horse from War Horse and the dog from The Artist deserve nominations. Seriously.... that would be amazing.
rockNrollaDIM
James dean is more feminine than she. Heck, her boyfriend Jeff is more feminine than she. Sumo wrestlers are more feminine than she. Hey fish, look at Sasha's new Twitter pic, you're gonna love it (I promise it's not Miranda Otto!): Plus this guy, it's love:

How about we see motion capture performances get nominated? Andy Serkis was simply amazing as Gollum, King Kong, and Caesar -- deserves three nominations for his work as these characters, but has nothing to show for it. stripe
I've finally seen Bridesmaids. WTF? If this cliche and sometimes unfunny comedy receive just one nomination I will be very embarrassed. There are a lot of better comedies with more original plots, pace, characters and screenplay. And Melissa Mc Carthy? Why? It's a onedimensional role we all have seen before in so many films. I can't see any academy member placing it in first place. So, al least, is out of the BP race. On the other hand, I saw The Artist and it was an amazing cinematic experience. The best of the year so far. I have yet to see Hugo, Moneyball and War Horse. In Spain the three doesn't open until february. Edited January 11, 2012 by stripe

I can see how it's getting Golden Globe love but Oscar nominations would be absurd.
