Russia was also killed by TF4 (though both Russia and the SE Asian markets dropped 50% even BEFORE TF4 - an eerie sign that this film could turn out to be frontloaded in every market)At least France is out of the Cup. Belgium and the Netherlands release this weekend, but one of the two may not advance tomorrow. Germany doesn't get it until after the WC (and, mercifully, AFTER TF4). Beside in Brazil, the theaters are close when there is a game! so it can do numbers if the theater are close! the movie won't go anywhere, people will go when the theater will be open again . and the weeks day number in brasil , we don't have it. But that doesn't mean they don't exist! So far it has showed some weakness due to the World Cup and T4, but the latter already opened in pretty much all of its stronger markets while Dragon hasn't yet. It's going to face little direct competition in many key markets and it will probably get a Japanese release and likely post good numbers in China (Maleficent's?). The DT1:DT2 ratio appears to be close to 1:2 in many markets, meaning an overall 1:1.6 is doable. Not locked, but doable. That'd give it a 450M or so overseas gross.
