Holidays are dominated by holdovers. Smaug seems to be having the same legs as AUJ. Frozen is an ice monster that will seemingly be in theaters forever. Hustle outdid Wolf, CF and Banks got nice bumps, and Anchorman had a good hold too. Meanwhile, Wolf did best of the openers but early WOM doesn't seem to be too hot (people are idiots), Mitty is legit underperforming, Ronin is doing as bad as we thought it would, Grudge Match is doing no better than any Stallone film this year, and perhaps Open Road is rethinking that whole 'we're not going to spend money marketing Believe' thing.

Imo, runs like these (Frozen) are a lot more impressive and fun than the ones that make 30-40% of all the doe during the first weekend.

I guess that actual children tickets, even with 3D, are cheaper than average price.

Yea, wow.  I went with a group of like 15 twenty-year-olds on Friday and I saw a lot of other young people.  Didn't think it would be that low.

Quite possible. I don't see more than 20-21M for PA so that gives Frozen a strong shot at weekend title.
