The Panda
Bad Words is highly underrated, it has decent reviews, but it was a very well-made movie with good laughs and makes some solid points with its climax.

lilmac
Having just seen The Expendables 3, I'm going to include it on the underrated list preemptively. It's the best one so far.
SchumacherFTW
The Purge:Anarchy. Really surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Had this been the first film, it likely would have gotten closer to 100m.
Jessie
Definitely Robocop, much more smarter and emotionally engaging than it had any right to be.

Kalo
I've only seen 12 2014 films and I pretty much a agree with the overall consensus of the films I've seen. maybe Gods not Dead. but pretty much the target audience loved it so.

filmlover
The Fault in Our Stars. Considering it scored an 80% on RT and made over $120M at the box office (much, much more than what movies of that kind usually make), I'd hesitate to call it underrated.

Blankments
Exact opposite. You might not like the movie, but besides me, I don't see anyone claiming it's great anymore. I see most people complaining about it being overrated actually. If everyone's complaining it's overrated, then it's effectively not overrated anymore. It's like how people claim The Iron Giant is underrated despite the fact that by now everyone knows about it
