yea bay cranked the color saturation/contrast up to eleven in that one... also his uber dramatic moving wide angle shots from below start to get a little annoying... but at least imo the story/concept isnt that bad when you like scifi stuff.

Michael Bay's style of filmmaking is so utterly fucked. It's suffocating. All these close-ups, flickering lights, unnecessary reaction shots, ugly candy colors and the constantly moving camera.. this movie is unbearable to watch.

Yeah, it was a great presentation for awards for not-so-great movies. 2008 was a pretty good year for film. This is in no way reflected by the oscars that year.

Seriously, worst movie ever. Not to mention it has led to me hearing more off-key renditions of Jai Ho than I thought was possible.The movie can rot in a pit and die for all I care. Slumdog is probably the most hated movie in India.
