Thursday boxoffice;#300 2 opens to 3.3mill in late shows

Expectations for 300: RISE OF AN EMPIRE keep inflating, but I personally still feel a sub-$30m weekend weekend coming. #300 #RiseOfAnEmpire

Yea, that's pretty much impossible now.  Shawn (he's one of the greatest predictors here, no doubt, but once in a while.....) did this as well with New Moon in 2009.  All the pre-hype told us it was going to be a monster and right up until the frenzy of sellouts came in, he stuck to his guns and said NM would open to about 70-80 mill.

That's a bigger number than I was expecting. Happy for Eva's sake

Although apparently there's some guy billed ahead of her and Headey? Boo, I thought they were the main characters

I underestimated box office potential for first installments of Twilight and The Hunger Games... not making the same mistake on #Divergent.

Also in TV show "Camelot" sexy as hell...

No one brought up "The Dreamers"? Are we trying to keep it PG rated in here or something  :P
