It's gonna make a fuckton of $. Not super convinced it's gonna go over $500m DOM, but I don't think that would matter too much. The Asian #s are gonna be insane.

That's the key, it's going to do a ton overseas (less profits for FOX if its skewed more international). How much vs the other big names we've seen?

So I was curious to see what Josh Friedman was up to ever and saw he was a writer for this movie.

 

I felt excitement and hype for the movie for the first time in years.

Whole Avatar story 2-5 plot outlines written by Jim, then he gave a collaborated with a bunch of writers and gave each a film to write.

Although the 600 pages of BS over six years was extremely tiresome, I'm still psyched that this is finally, truly happening. For better or for worse Cameron looks like he's actually going to realize his full ambition for this and is it not the kind of passion we typically admire from other filmmakers?
