Since when anticipation means anything for a JC movie?

James Cameron might be the only director out there that can spend 12 years disappearing off the surface of the planet (He was under the surface of the water :P ) and then comes back at the top of the world out of nowhere to triumph again reminding all the people out there (lovers, haters and doubters) he is still the boss.

You know a lot of artists work like that. They spend most of their time like recluse in silence, no one knows what they're doing or forget about them at times moving on, then one day we see a killer work popping up so mindblowing we can only be awestruck recalling why those artists are ace in the first place. That kind of artist that only comes back with a Bang.

Avatar 2 test footage screened: http://www.slashfilm.com/avatar-2-test-footage-screened-at-siggraph/

Landau had to stress this test footage was from several months ago and not quite at the technical level they’re striving for. Once Cameron begins filming (which is rumored to start early next year), the result will look better than the currently raw test footageThe next examples came out of Autodesk’s virtual production software Motion Builder, and again showed a notable advancement in quality. "Ultimately our goal is to get to this on stage [for live capture]," he said. "This is going to allow Jim to light the scenes and make the process more efficient ... and focus on what is most important—the close up. Movies about storytelling."
