Given the current trajectory and upward momentum, I project that we'll able to potentially land on 3rd all time in halls of box office history. If released in China a few months later, The Way of Water would have contended for the 1st place spot with it's precedessor.

hm, I wasn't the only one who thought the trailer looked kind of bad on the big screen, I see. I'm still interested, but I was kind of surprised.

I took a chance and saw this in 3D and when I tell you I was actually sad to see it end.  I thought I'd feel the length but it really just flew by. I'm so glad we won't have to wait 12 years for the next one.

Before even counting Avatar 3, Avatar will become the highest-grossing trilogy of all time, surpassing the Star Wars sequel trilogy ($4.5 billion).

And if all the AVATAR sequels keep being great movies, we could have a 10bil franchise from 5 movies!.

How many times has there been 10bil franchises guys?. Off the top opf my head i would guess Bond and Marvel, but you're talking 20+ movies with each.

Yeah brother Sheldon, i was being very conservative with that 10bil, i would expect 12+bil!.

As long as the numbers stay above 25mil i'm all dandy. I predicted 25-30mil average for each on the 4 Xmas weekdays.

Domestic - MCU

WW - MCU and SW

Has SW actually hit 10bil?, i mean there are 11 movies and most of them grossed under a bil, way under with the orig trilogy obviously.

And Bond hasnt done it?, thats surprising to me.

EDIT. Forgot about the Special Edition trilogy.
