Avatar: The Way of Water | 16 DEC 2022 | Don't worry guys, critics like it

“Our jobs as filmmakers is to keep making films on screen. We’ll continue to make this industry the greatest show on earth. My producer Jon Landau and I are committed to the theater experience. Despite what the folks at the Screening Room say, I think movies need to be offered in the theater on opening day. So boom.”

Keep cinema in cinema, boom.

Cameron said that the few people who have seen the designs he and his team are working on have been left speechless. “The pure imagination is far beyond the first film,” he said. There will be new characters, new creatures, new environments, new cultures, and more. A quick flurry of concept art flickered on the screen, and there were Na’vi jumping off cliffs, flying over oceans, burning ships. All of it familiar, but exciting, Avatar imagery.

I've seen movies set for release dates less than two years in advance that have gotten shelved and I've heard these vague announcments from Cameron before. I would think with a movie this high profile we'd find out pretty quickly if things were truly moving ahead

Avatar 3 will make $1 billion in China alone.

USD will also have tanked thanks to Trump, Avatar will make atleast $4bil thanks it xchange.

K, that was a bit foolish.

But I don't see how people can get excited about Avatar again.

The biggest movie ever has articles dedicated to how little people care about it:

That's a self defeating argument.

I... don't see how Trump will have any effect on the exchange rate.
