Avatar 2 will be a giant smash all over the world except in the US and A and Her Majesty's Empire.

And the world will laugh and point fingers at these two renegade and clueless countries ...

As long as they have their Sta War I guess.

It will still get top 2 here (UK), probably won't beat TFA though.

Thats not how stuff works.

760 Domestic = 418m

204 China = 51m

1,842 OS = 736m

1.2b

Edit: Then give James his backend off that 1.2B.

Don't judge if I don't trust someone who masquerades as a writer while lacking the most basic skill in said profession.

Avatar has more wonder and emotion than all of the Star Wars films easily.

Don't doubt Jim.

I'm not doubting Jim, I'm doubting the UK and America. Besides it makes $850m DOM and £100+ in the UK, it's on track for $3.5b world wide at least.

If it beats TFA in the UK and America.. that's $4b world wide. It's more possible than <$2b that's for sure.

Oh god, so now this is a three-some-monologue ... Think i'm gonna stop following this thread. I don't like reading private conversations. I'm a discreet person.

Don't need your superfluous nonsense comments anyway, go read the 500 Star Wars posters instead, far more variety.

Pretty expected but it's news.

Also for those who vow by the Scott Meddler meme of cultural impact, how many other films have mountains named after them? https://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Wulingyuan

I'd prefer to hear about new cast members really, (or GAH producing).

Avatar has geological impact, it's an entertainment earthquake.

That guy who is constantly wrong tried saying that them dropping Star Wars from the title in China wasn't uncommon, yet it turns out that Avatar is basically called Avatar in China.

I wonder if that's another key to success? Jim manages to even name his movies titles that people of all cultures can relate to.
