TASM 3 with the Sinister Six I think should definitely still move forward. If that continues to go down then maybe then Sony should just sell the character back for a billion or something

Hong Kong skyline looked awesome in TDK. Would be a good place for Spidey to do some webslinging. They'd have to be careful with how they present the criminals though. Potential censorship in China.

Only temporarily. Spider-Man's popularity on the big screen will eventually come back. Except by that time, he'll be back at Disney, and Marvel can use him in The Avengers 5.

I don't think they can get a Billion for the film rights now. Disney has all the merchandising rights already. They paid over $4 Billion to buy Marvel. I don't think the film rights would be worth an extra Billion. Spider-Man films are clearly declining at the box office.

The problem with these movies has nothing to do with location.

No, it has to do with same ol, same ol. But one way to change that is location. There are many other ways too, and location alone would hardly be enough incentive to make it fresh and interesting again. It is a start though.
