DeeCee Posted May 24, 2012 Share Posted May 24, 2012 (edited) I was a fan of Dark Angel(the final episode was the last fictional thing James Cameron directed before Avatar) and it was cancelled after 2 seasons so Fox could replace it with Firefly which they also quickly cancelled. Even though I was also a big Joss Whedon fan I boycotted Firefly and have only ever seen a couple of episodes although I have also seen Serenity(which I also have on Blu Ray). The ship in Firefly was a Firefly class spaceship called Serenity. That's where the names come from. The second feature film he wrote and directed was a little ensemble film called The Avengers which came out sometime earlier this year.
