Yes! The end when her father doesn't remember and she's being pulled away in the rain is so heart-wrenching. Really great score too, I love the theme tune.

I read the script to this some time ago.  Interested to see how they pull it off.

 

Clooney's only in it for around 15-20 minutes tops since his character dies.  For the majority of the film, it's just Bullock's character on screen.

Damn what a fine movie. If it had come out in most years post-95 it'd probably would have stood a strong chance at taking home the Oscar gold. Just had the bad luck that the Academy wanted to do for Gibson what it did for Clint, even though Clint had been directing for well over a decade prior to his win.
