The Stingray
I thought Guardians would do 150m total and Turtles 100m. Yeah...
Jake Gittes
Boyhood with $2,088,840 -13% for a 10.6m cume Underwhelming. The roll-out for it seems too slow, they should've had it in 800+ theaters last weekend or, at the latest, this weekend.

kitik
I keep forgetting most people are simpletons that are easily entertained How rude. There have been a few of us that have been trying to explain all year long that TMNT is still hugely popular today. The show is popular and the toys are top sellers with boys. I have no intention of seeing TMNT, but that doesn't mean I can't see it's obvious popularity.

Yeah, and it will at least outgross films like The Hurt Locker and The Master. Still, I hope IFC keeps it in theaters until the potential Oscar expansion. For its first three weeks of release I really thought it had a chance at $30m, but then IFC didn't roll it out wide enough quickly enough and its PTA started dropping harder at the same time. It'll be lucky to crawl over 20m at this point.
