AniNate
Toronto seems to have become this giant monster that keeps on growing and growing .... Much like the city itself.

Kvikk Lunsj
Definitely, but smaller ones have their charm too, at least from my experience. The Cleveland Film Festival has a fun atmosphere. I have been to the BFI London Film Festival

The Panda
The Last 5 Years got acquired, I had no idea it was being made but I am extremely excited now since the musical is great and Anna Kendrick is a great actress. Also, it'll give me a solid alternative to 50 Shades on valentines day.
Kvikk Lunsj
Perhaps you plan to go again yes? I doubt since I do not live in London. I went since I did a study abroad in London. I going to try to go the Twin Cities Film Festival.

La Binoche
I chuckled at the prayer circles and candles for Still Alice to get a distributor.
Ezen Baklattan
Sony Pictures Classics got it. http://deadline.com/2014/09/toronto-sony-pictures-classics-buys-still-alice-to-launch-this-oscar-season-833397/
filmlover
I chuckled at the prayer circles and candles for Still Alice to get a distributor. And once she wins, God's work will be done. Long live Queen Moore! But no, really, it's about damn time she became an Oscar winner (fingers crossed!).
AniNate
Since it's unlikely anyone else will see it, thought I'd post THR's Prophet review here. Does a better job detailing how I felt about the film. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/review/kahlil-gibrans-prophet-toronto-review-732619

holcs
Didn't really see this thread till baumer linked it. TIFF sounds so badass…i'd love to just watch new movies all day every day for a week. Jealous of those that got to see Nightcrawler- really am amped to see it and early reviews say it's the best shot LA film since collateral which was an awesome movie. Sounds dark, funny, disturbing, horrific…perfect. And yup met the rth down in diego for a few hours before he had to take off to the festival. Was quick, wish we could've chilled more - maybe got a quick squat/bench session in (haha), but was good times nonetheless.
