Could have released it during Halloween.

Halloween isn't usually very good as most people go out or to parties. Films have suffered in the past. Holdovers, fine, new openers, not so much.

Ouija has halloween covered this year. Annabelle will probably get a nice bump too.

I think annabelle will hold better than pipo think on sat!

how many horror films get B+ cinemascore

Quite alot of them do. I don't think it'll fall much in terms of bad WOM, more just audience rush-out. People rush out to horror films on opening night, always have, always will.

Actually no they usually get cinema scores of c or d....so your very wrong there....

Annabelle's cinema score of B+ is not so far from the conjurings A-

Doesn't matter. Horror films are always front loaded on their first weekend, even The Conjuring decreased 18% Friday to Sat

Anyone else feels like Gone Girl could have had some capacity issues?

It looked incredibly full in all the evening shows I had a look at hours before the screening started.

Yup, there's nothing studios hate more than sold out shows.
