Before I Go To Sleep lost over 1000 theaters this weekend

I honestly can not ever recall that happening before, and I've been following box office for many, many years. With three total bombs out the gate, we can probably expect Clarius Entertainment to close their doors real soon.

You don't think Interstellar is going to make a killing in all the large formats out there?

Not enough to account for 80% of ticket sales. There aren't that many large format screens relative to regular size 3D screens. It's not like Gravity didn't also make a killing in premium large formats. I think ED's point is that Interstellar will have to sell quite a few more tickets to match Gravity's $55m opening.

You don't think Interstellar is going to make a killing in all the large formats out there?

Gravity was strictly IMAX 3D, no 2D option. So it still has an advantage.
