Weekend Numbers THG: 123, BH6 20.1, IS 15.1 pg 205

I don't think it'll happen, but if GOTG were to win the year it would probably be one of the most shocking/surprising box office feats of the last 10 years.

THG is a super-successful franchise with a top-billed female lead, whereas GOTG was such a wild concept that exceeded my expectations like a motherf**ker, so I don't know which one to root for either.

That B- Cinemascore is a bad grade for these loveable dummies. Their second Friday is down 71% and they’re on a course of a bigger than average drop this weekend.

I still don't understand how CF was able have the same multiplier as THG even though it was a sequel. Freak of nature I guess.

Fast 5 and 6 both opened higher than their predecessors and had better multipliers.

They were also better received than their predecessors.
