It's certainly an... Interesting concept.

You know what...for some reason I didn't think of it that way. You're right though. 

 

The movie still isn't hooking me but you're absolutely right that it's not fair to criticize the CGI in this instance.

I think this will do poorly sinply because it action scenes are basically a video game.

Animated action movies (which this basically is) never do well. Look at Beowulf or Final Fantasy for examples. 

 

They should've made the virtual world look as real (or almost as real) as the real world.

The European premiere is on Monday so I guess we'll have more reviews then.
