I think Sniper is doing fantastic, for an R-rated war drama. It's now in the top ten of R-rated flicks, just passed SPR. The movie is poised to pass Seth Rogen's Ted (karma is a bitch, he should have kept his mouth shut) and also to note, Bradley Cooper is now in three of the top ten R-Rated flicks. Sniper is also poised to be one of only 2 R-Rated flicks to  pass 300 million.

Yeah, that'll show Seth Rogen! It made more money than a successful movie he had nothing to do with!

The month looks bleak overall outside of the crazy Valentine's Day/President's Day weekend. Although Focus should do pretty well.

really what should help February is 50 Shades Of Grey, Spongebob,Kingsman, and holdover American Sniper. But Focus might not do that big since projections for it aren't so hot right now

The last two weekends of February look really weak! Focus' trailer didn't grab me, don't get the tone, is it serious or playful? Will watch for Margot Robbie though

And to be honest, it's not like March is filled with big blockbusters either outside of a few obvious titles. Is there anyone who thinks CHAPPiE will be anything but a big flop? Or that Unfinished Business will do any better than Vaughn's (who better be hoping that True Detective really turns his career around at this point) last few so-called "comedies"?

No, not really.

Ted was Seth MacFarlane, bro.

Cake (FREE), 482 theaters (0) /$93K Fri. (-67%)/ $3-day cume: $266K (-71%) /Total cume: $1.58M / Wk 2

She needs to go back to TV. It's where she belongs.

Why are you singling this movie out for attack? If it it's a diss against Aniston, try harder. Nobody would've turned that movie into a hit.

Cake's entire release strategy was "People will come to watch Aniston's Oscar nominated performance". No nomination, no audience.
