seduh
I'm amazed at how FF7 is performing, I thought it would collapse a la Twilight. It will drop hard this weekend, but not as hard as I expected. I think a 32% on Wednesday ($9) and a 7% on Thrusday ($8,3), then a 88% jump on Friday ($15,6), 35% on Saturday (21,1) and a 38% drop on Sunday $13. first weekend: $191,8 second weekend: $49,7 (-66,7%) / $241,
PDC1987
Why would it increase less than 100% on Friday? It's not the second half of summer or the holidays.

ecstasy
$200M is looking more likely now. But too little to late for getting much more than that. It doesn't matter to me if it reaches $200m or not. It's already a success. The movie has made 4 times its budget worldwide and will make twice its $95m budget domestically. I don't see how its too little too late for anything except for people comparing it to Maleficent. Edited April 8, 2015 by Ecstasy

Poseidon
Wow, Home is doing a very good job. On the compareable day of the run, also the tuesday after easter weekend, Rio 2 made $1,9m and went on to do another $50m after that, so Dreamsworks could really have another 150m+ grosser here, which was totally unexpected for me.
