They should think about moving the release date of this now more than ever.

Even as counter programming it stood little chance to do well in the wake of SWep8

Now, with recent events and how much that will be discussed again when it releases will make SW8 an even larger steamroller than it was going to be.

 

I rather enjoy both prior entries and would hate to see this tank if the quality of the film doesn't merit such a disaster.

Considering recent sequel performances (and the fact that second film reached its maximum potential), they probably want to minimize the damage. Plus, it wouldn't surprise me if this one has a holiday theme given the release date.

I just want this to be really better than the second one.  I'll be happy with that.  I liked the first one, but the second was much worse to me.

Well, tbh, this is going to face big competition in both Holidays and Summer, but Summer Weekdays are way longer than Holidays' potent days, so, why not take advantage of this?

I haven't seen the 2nd one yet, guess I will need to get on that and watch it.  I loved the first one, it just hasn't been high on my priority list for watching.
