Makes sense given the huge jump between PP1 and PP2. Release date is sooner than I expect. Wouldn't be surprised if they push it to spring/summer 2018. Why go up against Episode 8?

Story wise, Pitch Perfect 2 was a lot better than the first. The first Pitch Perfect had a lot more memorable jams tho. Hope they manage to get both for PP3.

It's a comedy, they usually have shorter schedules. I suspect they'll be a trailer in May or June.

Universal will likely start promoting it around the time Girls Trip comes out in July.

This will be good counter programming against the Last Jedi. I expect it to do well, maybe 160m or so.

it will do well due to the holidays however they need to bring some novelty for it to to increase from the 2nd film.

the second one is one of the worst studio comedies i've ever seen. i'm not even usually someone whose bummed by lazy stereotype jokes in a big way but oof.

 

 

btw look at that "arm up a cow's ass" scene in the trailer @WrathOfHan, proof that RAW is already an influential motion picture.

I enjoyed the first. Second movie sucked. Im not the bothered about this one though, it looks like the joke has gone on far longer than it needed to.
