Umm..

If you're about to say Bing Bong, that's not remotely close to the same thing.

Maybe the things that sang the gum song could be the "annoying cute things" but only if they were in every single scene and there were 400 of them instead of two.

Can someone give me a weekend breakdown for Inside out? shouldn't it increase tomorrow.

Perhaps slightly. Pixar tends to be a bit frontloaded. Their past several June releases (dating back to WALL-E) have probably made about the same on Saturday as their Friday without preview/midnight number.

So if IO is looking at a 36m Friday, it's probably in line for a 32-33m Saturday.

One thing is saturday increase has gotten better recent years. Some of the frontloaded franchises are also holding better on saturday. IO is having insane WOM and so will do better than how Wall-E did back in 2008. I am predicting it to have 10-15% increase minus previews and 10% drop on sunday to hit 100m+ for the weekend(hopefully).

This is because of the transition from midnights to previews.  A small% of Friday evening casual demand can be burned off Thursday evening instead (whereas midnights tend to draw more dedicated auds), muting Friday volume and thus the Saturday's come out looking stronger.

Yes. That could be the factor. That is why even divergent increased on saturday and normally this kind of franchises will show frontloadedness irrespective of release month. I am confident IO would do better than some of the earlier Pixar June releases.
