BoxOfficeZ
Minions might win second weekend if Ant-Man doesn't go pass 60m.
Jandrew
Im confused, so is that Minions number good or not? 12-13.5 million looks really high for a Monday, but its too late for me to read sarcasm. Edited July 14, 2015 by Jandrew

bladels
We have several planes with Minions painted on their body flying around today. Universal is serious with Minions' marketing
Fake
All the drops are around 5% higher than what I was expecting. I had IO at 50% and Minions/JW at 55%.

baumer
No way Minions gets to 350 M. It will do so quite handily. I think it can get to 380. That's not even a 3.4X.
Biggestgeekever
Minions second weekend will be sub $50M, so 350 will not be easy.
Planodisney
I have no idea how to determine from here, where Minions will end up. However, I think repeat viewings will be extremely low for this film, which I would think would be felt around week 4 and beyond giving it weak middle and late legs. I just don't know how much a failure to inspire repeat viewings effects box office. After seeing this movie Sunday, while not terrible, I can't imagine wanting to see it a 2nd time. With Minions opening, first week and probable 2nd weekend numbers being so huge, I think it will still end up 10-20 million above Inside Out. Both movies are huge wins for their studios. Even though Minions production was much cheaper than Inside Out, the marketing budget has to be off the charts. This is the most heavily marketed film I've ever seen. I bet total budgets are closer than anyone thinks.

Killimano3
if it hits the low end minions will have dropped a lot harder then I thought. Nothing seriously worrying though it's still performing well

Of course Twitter can't be used to judge at all but still a nice tiny indicator:)
