56M for MI:5. Much better than tracking indicated. Didn't some say it would do 30M?

Tracking before / around the time Paramount reacted to the tracking numbers was a bit above $40m. But then they started I think pre-screenings, review dates moved... (I forgot the details, someone here listed them) = they did a lot more then before

Weinstein is such a vindictive asshole.  Releasing the trailer one day before the film then dumping it in the market place with no marketing because once again he was denied final cut.  Why do people keep making deals with a man continuously dishonors them?

  The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet $31,000 -- 100 -- $310 $31,000 1 Weinstein Company

He's losing his touch. About Ray and Macbeth are going VOD. If he isn't going to get people awards, either, eventually that's going to affect who wants to sell their movies to The Weinstein Co.

$56 million for RN, wasn't expecting that much of a multiplier after Friday.

Last year he completely fucked up with The Immigrant and Snowpiercer  dumping off his two films with the best critical response that he could have actually got some award traction for.
