A satirical comedy about American spin doctors competing in the same Presidential election in Bolivia based on the 2006 documentary by Rachel Boynton. A group of American consultants accept the challenge of getting an unpopular Bolivian president re-elected. Bullock plays a maverick political consultant, “Calamity” Jane Bodine, who comes out of retirement to lead the team.

I thought "This looks like a movie where George Clooney would have played the lead character" just before Clooney's name popped up on screen.

This seems like something it will only get released OS if it gets to be a major player in the awards season.

Judging by the poster, this movie does not have the best campaign so far. The trailer was good but this will most likely be one of those movies which opens in the mid-teens and then just plays and plays through the holidays to end with a 50-60M domestic on a 20M budget or so.

Sandra Bullock doesn't have the same draw power OS. Interstellar without 3D destroyed Gravity OS. Of course it will open in some territories, but it will get cancelled in many others as well.

Bullock does career best work here, but the film is pretty offensive. Kind of follows the whole "the-white-American-saves-the-day" bullshit we are constantly exposed to.

2.5/4ish is probably what I would give it.

Got this trailer yet again at Sicario.

This film needs to die.

Agreed. My audience at The Martian seemed to be into it but it just looks like a movie you'll find on ABC Family every weekend.
