Nevermind, I made a mistake.

I meant they have to work immediately from writing the script this month if they want to make the release date in 2019. There is a better chance the sequel will be better if they take their time and push the sequel to 2020.

So this happened tonight.

 

I went to see a screening of Molly's Game. When I got to the cinema I found out the screening was cancelled due to technical problems, so I had to find something else to watch instead.

 

I was torn between Darkest Hour and Jumanji. I chose Jumanji and I  think it was the wright choice.

 

Jumanji was really funny and unexpectedly (at least for me) really well structured. All of the actors were great but I think Jack Black was the MVP.

Overall: Great time to the cinema.

Now, comparing the first one’s gross:

 

Domestic:	$100,475,249	38.2%
+ Foreign:	$162,322,000	61.8%
= Worldwide:	$262,797,249

 

 

This is probably the largest WW-increase i’ve seen from a first predecessor.
