Very disappointing Everest numbers....100m DOM definitely not happening. On the other side, that would be excelent fot Hotel 2. Anything over 10m OD is good for it.

It opened last week OS with strong numbers and it is expanding this week to more markets. 

 

Still, I am sad with the DOM number. I was at least hoping for a 20M weekend. The movie is fantastic.

Everest has only one or two 2D showings a day this weekend in the theater I go to, and another one nearby is the same deal That's.....not good. Sure, it's expanded theaters, but it doesn't appear to have expanded screens much, especially 2D

Hotel Transylvania 2 has a smaller production budget than the first, that's strange

Sony Animation is really good with their budgets. Cloudy 2 also cost less than the first Cloudy.
