I agree ... not really bad, even entertaining, but not asked-for either; what was fresh and original in MiB1 is now repetitive and uninspired. You know a film has serious script problems if they have to throw Lara Flynn Boyle as a dessous model at the audience.

I remember seeing thjis in theaters and when it was over (and very quickly given the lean 88-minute running time - even less taking out the credits), I thought it was just generic and kind of lazy.

I think the first one was more of a pleasant surprise so it got people to enjoy it. However, I don't think many were crying out for a sequel and this movie was pretty disappointing.C+

Why is this hated? I admit it wasn't good but neither was the first. They are equal for me. Throwaway. Easy to watch on TV on a lazy day.

Horrendous film. A huge disappointment. Only one real funny moment, plot (despite the numerous stories they could have used from the animated series or comic books) was just a rehash of the first, way too much focus on over the top slapstick and dumb comedy, totally awful, non intimidating villains. This movie was an insult to the first

The first one told a story, the second one was a repetitive sequel. I did not like the CGI for the aliens. They and the weapons looked so cheesy. The only thing it had going was Will Smith.

I had to go with a D grade, I even own it but it's such a bad Hollywood rehash of the first film.It's borderline so bad it's good. If C- were an option I might have voted that as straight up D feels a bit too harsh perhaps.
