Ezen Baklattan
Yeesh, the Revenant was that bad?
Blankments
Excellent write-up on a lot of films. I need to check out Tangerine and Phoenix (I unfortunately had the opportunity to see Tangerine in a theater, but I had a massive migraine before I saw it). AniNate
I should do one of these, but I still have Revenant, Carol, Son of Saul and Anomalisa on my watch
Dementeleus
This list. I like it!
Cmasterclay
Great list, as expected. Just tried to see Carol but it was sold out. Boo hiss. Still need to see Carol, Revenant, Room, Love and Mercy, and Beasts before I can be confident making my list. Excellent work, Goph, even if I'd disagree on a few placements and positions (for instance, I really didn't get the hype for It Follows. It's super well-shot and made but the characters kinda sucked and I just didn't feel it all. Like a B- movie for me. But I understand why people do like it). Gopher
I don't think those six worst movies are on the same level of quality as the other, but all six reflect movies that set out to do something big and totally fail IMO. I honestly saw Phoenix on a whim over the summer because a friend of mine liked Petzold. Knew nothing about it/its reception. Still one of the purest movie experiences I've ever had.
Avatree
Don't agree with some of these choices, but every segment is really well written, and you've chosen some very smart films. And it's concise. Bravo, Gopher great list.
CJohn
Great list Gopher. I am doing my reveal now. http://forums.boxofficetheory.com/topic/20846-cjohns-top-10-best-of-2015-the-os-edition/?page=
Goffe
I'm starting to think I will have to watch MMXXL again before sub timing my list, everyone whose opinions I value loved it.
filmlover
I have watched Mad Max: Fury Road twice since getting the DVD for Christmas. Yes, it really is a wonderful movie.

Phoenix is a great film and it's a shame Hoss won't be nominated for Best Actress, especially considering who will probably be nominated.
Jake Gittes
Wish I could join the unabashed Phoenix love but man did I find the story contrived as hell. It's powerful on a metaphorical level, but not on a literal one, with the exception of the ending which sent me into full-body shivers even though I could plainly see that the entire narrative was constructed specifically for it. Goffe
Phoenix ending is indeed masterfully done. Didn't care for the rest of the movie.
RichWS
Except for Chi-Raq, I approve of this list. Glad to see some Phoenix and Shadows love.
