Now that he's finally won that Oscar, I hope Leo finally sells out and does a bunch of "paycheck" stuff now like a Care Bears reboot. C'mon, Leeeeeeeooooo, show us your lighter side.

Spotlight, The Big Short, The Martian and The Revanant were all more complete pictures.

Glad Spotlight took it. Either that or The Big Short greatly deserved it.

Ok, just woke up and watched some parts of this: I'm so happy for Leo! Freakin finally! Best pic winner... eh, I will see it now. And Sam Smith winning after that Lady Gaga performance... it was hilarious and tragic at the same time! Like, for real?

I need a thread like this to read every Monday. I laughed during my whole morning class. Blanks can't be real. Rylance deserves it. Sam Smith doesn't. God Leo finally won. Fucking Spotlight stealing it from the real good movies.

However Leo and Mad Max won so these Oscars show will have some mainstream appeal.

The ex machina win for VFX was one of the most shocking & biggest upsets in years. You could get it at 100/1 on some betting sites.

Star Wars took some short-cuts. But now they have 2.1 billion reasons and 0 Oscars to motivate them not to repeat the mistake. Star Wars should always be pushing the technical boundaries.
