I'm surprised that no one has asked this question.....but i have to ask.

Will the next Craig-Bond film, do better at the box office, and will it be a better recieved film? Cause i sensed this pattern with these recent Bond-films.

The odd-numbered movies are considered masterpieces (Casino Royale, Skyfall).....while the even-numbered movies are more considered averagely decent to ok. (Quantum of Solace, Spectre)

Will the next one be better than Spectre in terms of critical reception & box office?

Does all that mean Bond is becoming the new Star Trek?

Haha that's funny I haven't checked that in a while. We did well at the festivals we played but my producers kind of messed up that part for me to be honest. They didn't think we needed the festivals and seemed so confident in getting us a deal that I only sent to 17 festivals and managed that part personally. We played at 7 of those and picked up Best Comedy from New York International, Best Comedy / Romance from Eugene International, Grand Jury Prize from Las Vegas, nominations for Best HD Feature and Best HD Director from HD Fest, and a nomination for Best Comedy from Studio City International, plus Best Actress win from Beverly Hills Film, TV, and New Media (she was also nominated by Action on Film). All mid-tier festivals, I didn't think it would be a good fit for any of the bigger festivals but who knows maybe we could have snuck in somewhere.

Well....kinda. It does look that way. Unless the next one turns out as average as Spectre & Quantum......

They just need a great director to replace Sam Mendes for the next one.

I mean it was purchased for 1m and probably spent the same on marketing. I'd call this a rousing success.

$8-10m on P&A apparently.

It started off strong with reviews, then previews, then fizzled out on its first day. Same preview to 1st day multiplier as Paranormal Activity Ghost Dimension. (6th film in a franchise).

If JJ directed the next Bond and it was a new actor Skyfall numbers wouldn't be out of reach IMO. Being the director of the highest grossing movie of all time domestically has it's perks

If JJ directed the next Bond, it would pretty much be a "Bond's Greatest Hits Montage" strung together to make a movie. Spectre would have come close to 1B without the exchange rates going down, it still made 900M WW, not like it was a flop or something.

Audiences have already shown that they don't mind how a previous Bond movie was received when they go to watch the next one, it is pretty much a clean slate each time out for Bond.

PPZ came in 3rd on the theater drop list, CJohn is either happy or disappointed. Jem robbed CJohn of seeing a new movie at #1 on that list :P

I was reading an article about biggest flops of 2015, and Jem of course was on the list. I was shocked how cheap a budget the movie was actually made for. The transitions between scenes are done through (and I am not kidding) Google Earth, not just that but the Google Earth logo and the copyright symbol are visible on screen.

The background music is by random amateur videos on youtube and the best part pointed out by the article - there are 3 cameos in the movie by Chris Pratt, Alicia Keys & Jimmy Fallon, and The Rock - None of them actually shot anything for the movie. The Alicia Keys and Jimmy Fallon cameo was from Keys and Fallon talking about the Jem cartoon when she had appeared on his show, The Rock's cameo was an instagram video he had filmed congratulating Taylor Swift for Bad Blood, and this is the best one, Chris Pratt's cameo is from when he was promoting The Lego Movie (jump to 1:15)

http://usatoday30.usatoday.com/video/chris-pratt-dated-his-sisters-jem-doll-for-six-weeks/3152991592001

I don't think Chris Pratt even knows he was in the Jem movie. They just edited his interview to make it look like he was talking about the character in the movie.
