Sounds spooky! If already a thread, please delete.

Except, they'll likely not be nearly as scary and twice as ear shattering.
acab
I remember watching the short film this is based on. It was pretty creepy. It's basically the first scene of the trailer. I don't know how they'll make a whole movie around it but it looks pretty good.
zackzack
Compare this trailer to another James Wan movie Conjuring 2. Pretty similar scare tactic

baumer
Looked in the archives and didn't see anything for this. Teresa Palmer and Maria Bello star in this horror film about a creature that only appears when the lights go out. The trailer is terrific in my opinion. James Wan is producer. It opens up against Ice Age 5 and Star Trek Beyond. Here's the trailer...and imo, this could be a sleeper for the summer.
mrqe93
The short film was pretty good. And the movie looks pretty good too. Looking forward to it. One of my top 5 anticipated movies this summer.

CaptainJackSparrow
Ooh, this is my fault. Another mod told me I should start linking threads to the archives last week, because I haven't been ever. Sorry about that.

RyneOh1040
One of my friend's little brothers is the main kid in this. He's been blowing up and is the new Robert Kirkman series and the new American Gothic series on CBS.
baumer
I'm kind of craving some good horror this summer. Hopefully The Conjuring part 2 and now this film are both really good.
DMan7
James Wan is going to single handedly bring back the horror genre in all its prime.

I was a big fan of It Follows but I just wish an incredible slasher film could come back and reinvent the game.
Arlborn
Meh, these movies all look the same to me. Just personal taste though of course. The same way superhero movies all look the same to some people I guess.
