La Binoche
The Silence of the Lambs should have been higher if for no other reason than because it inspired the greatest TV show of all time: http://x-files.wikia.com/wiki/Clarice Not only was the character of Dana Scully based on Clarice Starling, the show took place at the FBI b/c of Silence. peludo
Really glad to see Spirited Away (in my top 10) and Batman Begins. Surprised and glad with Holy Grail being here. Up is not the best Pixar (I have not voted for it), but its first 10 minutes are INCREDIBLE. ROTJ is the Godfather 3 of Star Wars: the weakest of the original trilogy, but still a great film. I can understand the suspicion towards Inglourious Basterds: it is a Tarantino madness (the final act is our desired ending for the War). I think both Waltz and Pitt are great there. Not in my top 100, but really enjoyable.

Heck, that 10 minutes, by itself, could make an argument for being on this list. And how do people not love Usual Suspects? That movie is a master piece.

And unlike Crash and the Slumdog it's not kitsch. If you think it's bad, then too bad for you.
The Stingray
Inglourious Basterds is a near-masterpiece that nearly made my list. I prefer Speed (and Die Hard 2) over Die Hard.

Do we have to bring out the public shaming brigade every time someone says something critical about a well-liked movie?
