Deepwater looks like a good film too.  150m though?  Can't get past that wtf were they thinking.  It's insane, yet admirable.

Anyway, it's at 61% with 28 reviews counted. Way too early to really tell, but I'm thinking it will end in the 50-60% range.

Actually you know what, I'm glad Big Fish wasn't a huge hit like that. The last thing I'd want would for it to be considered an "overrated movie."

I am either going to be very right or very wrong on this one.  I can't see it getting out of the teens but a lot of the industry tracking is in the $30m range.

Tracking has been off for a good while now. They need to find a more accurate system for predictions.

Stuckmann gave it a mixed review. This could be a hit overseas, stateside audiences don't like Tim Burton anymore. Eva Green has nice jugs, but is poison.

Despite the mixed reviews and terrible Burton track record lately, the sales coming in now look like the industry tracking might be correct for once.  

 

Either that or it is extremely front loaded due to the teen book factor.

That would be truly peculiar if this opened to nearly the same as M7.
