Anything over 30M is a win for Warcraft. The effect of a 15M tracking report :stretcher:

Same as Pacific Rim. Initial reports on Friday had it challenging for #1 as well before no one apart from fans showed up for late shows.

Completely beside the point, but I wonder if you or @antovolk or anyone familiar with UK theaters knows this: how do these monthly passes work in terms of box-office reporting? They're obviously revenue for the theater. Each time a ticket is acquired, do they basically report the value of that ticket back to the distributor?

not too sure, sorry. probably, since that's still a ticket 'booked'.

actually Warcraft might not hold badly next week since next Sunday is Father's Day which causes action pictures to have minuscule Sunday drops or even increases

I see Central Intelligence benefiting best from Fathers Day.

Ok, good first half of the match. I expected a bit more from France, but hey, I'm glad my country is doing well:lol:

You guys could have scored super early :sadben:

Just watched NYSM2. Not bad but the tricks in this one defy logic to a large extent whereas in the first one you could make some sense of the logistics.

Jon Chu does do spectacle really well though and he makes the movie look much bigger than its budget. The ending makes no sense though.

This summer sucks ass.

CW-below expectations.

Apocalyspse- 140 mil tops.

Tmnt 2- Opened to half of the first one.

Nysm 2- epic floppage

Conjurung 2- Probably around 100 mil tops. Which is fine. Shoe string budget.

Aiw2-Total bomb

Angry Birds 2- Meh

Money monster- flop

Nice guys- Decent but nothing special

Really, really glad I didn't have any of this week's openers in my summer game top 15.

5. Bourne: 230M

6. Independence Day: 170M

7. Star Trek: 160M

8. X-Men: 150M

9. Central Intelligence: 135M

10. Ice Age: 120M

11. Ghostbusters: 110M

12. Angry Birds: 110M

13. The Conjuring: 85M

Just wait until Finding Dory, Independence Day, Purge, and Tarzan open. The box office will soar once again!
