PG-13 Pixar is unnecessary.

Pg-13 is the most overused rating in Hollywood movies right now, since studios continuously go for that rating for mass appeal. PG-13 rating has lost all meaning. I'm sick to death of all the PG13 blockbusters.

The PG rating is actually better because it forces the writers to come up with great material that doesn't need higher ratings to shock people.

Greater diversity and quality of movies is up to the studios and audiences who choose to watch.  It's not RT's responsibility.  RT which was owned and is still partially owned by WB.

Not saying there's a conspiracy. That doesn't change that I think RT is flawed, now, during HP times, and whenever. I'm not talking about RT's responsibility. I'm looking at the industry as a whole, and b4 RT and the Internet, I feel diversity was better embraced. Now, RT and certain fan mentality encourages this herd approval towards movies. Enough so that you would give me statistics to poor OS legs to BvS? Wtheck? The negative slant for the other tent poles is kinda unreal. Anyway, you do you my man, and I'll hope ID or Ghostbusters gets to have some glory. Have fun.

Did I mention of the 7 times I saw TFA in theaters, 3 were in IMAX and two of the others were a premium theater? (So only 2 of the viewings on a "normal" screen)

 

In total, I probably spent near (if not over) 100 dollars on just TFA tickets, and that was just myself.  If I count the tickets I bought for people I went with (IMAX TFA was my Christmas present to my dad) then well over 100 on tickets alone.

Pixar doesn't make kids movies, they make movies for adults that kids can enjoy. Big difference from most DWA movies.

Most PG-13 movies should be PG, and most PG movies should be G.  There's also a fair number of R movies that should be PG-13.

I agree, though while there's potential in the universe I'm not sure how far they could take it while still keeping their focus on the characters I fell in love with. Main issue is you'd need to figure out another excuse for a garbage compactor to go to space
