Valerian at 8.3 has so far managed a 2.1 multi. SMH needs just 1.85 multi to get to 890 and pass SM3. So I dont see why it cant get that. Even Guardians 2 managed near 2 multi with 8.1 rating.

Thor is not doing 880. It'll probably land somewhere between 700-800. JL will probably overtake it though. But it still did really well, exceeded expectations of most people

Yeah Thor3 ww is not coming anywhere close to SMH ww. How much ever Thor3 dom falls below SMH's 335, it needs to make up OS.

So at 290 dom Thor3 will need 600 os. I think 260 dom + 490 os = 750 ww is near the high end for Thor3.

Thor 3 shouldn't be underestiimated, people seem much more excited about that one (I'm one of them, Thor1&2 bored me), and there is Hulk.

I'm not entirely convinced that either Thor: Ragnarok or Justice League will be able to top Spider-Man: Homecoming.

The exchange rate is going to be tougher on Thor 3 and JL than they were on Thor 2 and BvS.

 

I wouldn't be surprised if JL plummets like Transformers 5.

 

Audience are extra picky so quality will be the deciding factor.

Agreed. While the trailer views are not guarantees, what shouldn't be dismissed is the buzz the movie has nevertheless generated.

Thor 3 shares a lot with Guardians 2, heavy comedy and somehow sci fi setting. Volume 2 didn't exactly break the OS markets
