That s what I am trying to explain to all of you 

 

KUBO uses two techniques :

 

Stop Motion & Composited CGI

 

It s either a movie (Stop Motion is kinda live action if you think about it) with VFX

 

or 

 

an Animated movie which uses two animation techniques : Stop Motion & CGI, blended together.

 

Can't be both.

 

Still no VFX.
