Spidey will hit $400m where is it

That's a bold statement with the trend it has been on. That's bigger my prediction from last year that china BO would flatten out which just happened

SW R1

.... it snagged around $49m over its third Fri-Sun weekend, giving it the fifth-biggest third weekend of all time, behind Jurassic World ($54.4m), The Avengers ($55.6m), Avatar ($68.4m) and The Force Awakens ($90.24m). Yes, it's starting to trail Avatar so the end is clearly nigh.

On a serious note, and in the realm of useless trivia, Walt Disney now owns 11 out of the top 20 biggest "third weekends." The film dropped just 23% in its third weekend, which is way above the 39% third-weekend drop for The Force Awakens last year. Yes, Christmas and New Year's fell on different days, and yes other "big" December releases held better over the last holiday weekend of the year, but that's still a terrific hold when you're dealing with numbers this large

.... Anything leggier than that (Hobbit) gives the film a real shot at $550 million domestic.

...

So using those “Christmas fell on a Sunday” examples, we may be looking at around $550-$600 million domestic by the end. ....We'll know more tomorrow, but I can't see a scenario at the moment where Rogue One doesn't end up one of the very biggest domestic hits of all time and the biggest movie if the year worldwide

According to BOM, the movie has made 71% of it's BO internationally, in line with DH Part II, which was much more front loaded. It still had a good run DOM

LMAO LIVE BY NIGHT  Silence is frontloaded as expected.

They should've never bothered with a qualifying release for Live by Night and just dumped it in January without any awards aspirations, really.

So which do you think will gross more when all is said and done, Doctor Strange or Fantastic Beasts?

Fantastic Beast which will cost me hundreds of thousands of points in the Winter Game. :sadben:

But it will benefit @Grand Moff Tele and @Wrath

...who will probably get the top 5 in correct order instead of me. :sadben:

i'm sad to look at the arrival number, there is plenty of people eager to see it, but when come to an such competitive, it screening cut down by force since christmas day, the WOM just kick in but the movie is already drowning....

It will get an awards re-expansion when Oscar noms come out or earlier if it wins a Golden Globe
