I don’t tell this kind of joke in here. They showed us the screenshot of the Weibo in private, but said nothing when we asked what the problem is with it.

 

A critic said “Zhang Yimou is dead” when TGW opened in China. As of February 12, it has made $170,419,263 in China. I think its international run is out of steam by now.

 

To give the movie some credit, last night's 9:15 showing was more filled than I expected it to be. There were almost 40 people there. I counted...

Dailan Wanda thought it was a disappointment because it was projected to make much more than that.

 

Also, its budget is $150 million and it's only made $224.5 million. It's an obvious loss for Universal as well as Legendary.
