I'm just laughing at how much shit BVS got from people and it still ended up on the top25 with the same score as Civil War. That felt so good.

And yet that ranking still doesn't mean BvS isn't a fucking horrible movie that a lot of people dislike hence it's placement in the Worst 5 films in the other poll.   It's just blowing in the wind. B)

Being voted the in the top5 worst movies of the year and in the top25 best movies of the year at the same time is actually conclusive proof that it was a very divisive movie.

I guess I should be happy that HANDMAIDEN got top 35. How many lists was it on, @grim22?

Can look it up later. Actually headed to a Super Bowl get together now, finished the countdown in a hurry as I needed to hit the road (driving to Rancho from OC :P )

Also, this is probably a very personal problem, but I really didn't like the portrayal of Ian. No scientist I've ever met (and I've met a lot) would say anything as ignorant or arrogant as some of the lines he's given.

He was just there to be a sentient Ken doll for Adams' character.

Damn, I moved The Lobster above Wilderpeople in the last minute. It didn't help The Lobster, but it kicked Wilderpeople out, a shame.

It was the kind of thankless role women usually get saddled with.   It's remarkable that he had more to do and had more personality ins any of his appearances as Hawkeye.
