Wow, I saw a Bad Moms Christmas ticket getting sold on Pulse, didn't think they'd be on sale yet.

Yeah, they just put them up the other day. It appears they aren't doing Tuesday previews, which is understandable since who would want to watch a Christmas movie on Halloween?

When I made the post I didn't realise the movie opened Nov 1st, I thought it was closer to Xmas to be honest.

Bronies - there are many in your area:)...

Actually, I expect this to not crash and burn as much as most folks think...since there is an adult angle, I see all those Moviepass folks hopping on...the $2/tickets should be a shot in the arm...and since it seems like a mommy/daughter outing to rival Ninjago's daddy/son outing, it probably won't be epic numbers bad (like Leap and Nut Job 2)...it's not gonna be great, but it's probably gonna surprise some folks on here who are predicting crash and burn numbers...I mean, even in 2500 theaters, I could see this trying for double digits...

Your theater needs another MLP showing:)...my theater's 9:45pm is actually outselling the 7pm 8-2 so far...

They'll probably add one at 7:30 or 8:00 once full showtimes are out. Basically everything has been getting a second preview.

John Wick: Chapter Two, The Hitman's Bodyguard, The Shack, All Eyez on Me, The Big Sick and now My Little Ponny, another little hit for Lionsgate this year. How do you feel knowing many people will keep, happily, their jobs, being able to sustain their family when you said and rooted for Lionsgate to go bankrupt, Cjhon?

That seems incredibly strong for HDD, second biggest movie of month, only behind BR.

Thor 3 OVER $300M DOM?

I wouldn't take everything to heart. It's a small sign. My theater is one of many. There's times when it gets things right in terms of presales (IT over Homecoming and Baby Driver over Baywatch) but it can get things wrong (Kingsman over Apes).

Is this 6pm Thor opening event common for these movies?  $30 tickets for Real-D, popcorn, collectors coin and lanyard.  Most are full around here by now...should really boost previews...

Disney did it with BATB earlier this year.
