A Wrinkle In Time

North Shore Cinema

3/8/18 (4 days before previews, 5 before release)

Mequon, WI

7:00 - 6/301 - USCR

9:45 - 0/301 - USCR

Running 28.5% ($14.5M OW) of Coco, 37.5% ($10.5M OW) of Wonder, and 85.7% ($25.4M) of Daddy’s Home 2. However it is worth noting it has Ultrascreen for previews so results may vary but overall doesn’t look good.

How many new releases are this week, only the four?

Currently, one of our theaters - the biggest - is getting all four, two are only getting Wrinkle, and one is getting Strangers.

Really hope our Regal gets Gringo and Heist...they can push out Maze Runner and 12 Strong, I'm surprised they've held on this look. Good for them. Get out.

Death Wish 17 1050 1.05%
Red Sparrow 89 1366 3.44%
Wrinkle in Time 167 1582 10.56%

In case I don't have the time to do comps tomorrow, Death Wish is currently 47% of The Foreigner ($6.2M), 21% of The Commuter ($2.9M), 54% of 12 Strong ($8.7M), 11% of Den of Thieves ($1.7M), 35% of 15:17 to Paris ($4.4M), and 57% of Annihilation ($6.3M)

Don't have many good comps for Red Sparrow unfortuneately.

Wrinkle in Time 454 1582 28.70%
Strangers 0 1672
Tomb Raider 2 1560 0.13%

Wrinkle in Time got a huge boost over the past few days, and in terms of family films is above every other film's 3-Day ticket sales except Wonder. Strangers and Tomb Raider just started sales today, so that's why there are little to no ticket sales. Gringo and Hurricane Heist aren't coming to my theater.

Gringo is gonna do so bad this weekend. I won't be surprised if it goes sub-$4M tbh.

That is big jump for Winkle and a great one too. Now it’s 41% ahead of DH2 ($41.8M OW) and 50% ahead of Wonder ($41.25M OW). However it’s 47% behind Coco ($27.1M OW).

But guys... what about Hurricane Heist :redcapes:

Our biggest theater is getting it so far, but it's SO far away...our Regal got Hostiles so I'm counting on them to get this.

Can't wait to be the only person in the theater on Friday :sparta:

looooooooool at Gringo and Hurricane Heist being put in the smaller auditoriums. When a flop horror movie is being favored for a bigger auditorium, you know something is wrong :hahaha:

I'm a bit surprised Game Night now has most of its shows in the smallest auditorium, but it's been performing really poorly the past few days. I guess it isn't skewing to seniors :kitschjob:
