Really depends on what you're looking for, but usually the most important takeaway for just a casual glance is the comp.  More on that in a bit.   But even that is highly dependent on a movie being either in a similar genre or having a similar pre-sale pattern as folks will buy tickets at different times during a pre-sale window thanks to a very long list of factors.   Add in that movies will have different promotional schedules during their pre-sales (review embargoes, TV ca

Mulan (T-19)

MTC1 - overall 1315 shows 14882/272788 263428.33 219145.65

MTC2 - overall 1957 shows 6420/306268 86078.29 62044.64

 

I had checked 3 days earlier and its averaging per day just under 500 tickets at MTC1 and 300 tickets at MTC2. Good numbers overall but it has slowed down and real action would happen only in the final week. Its hard to predict this far ahead but around 5m previews should be the target.

Numbers are not huge but I would not worry. This is not fan driven. Real action will be seen only in the release week.

This seems really strong. 83% of IT 2. I say we go for $7-8mn previews. Wish we had US numbers as comp.

 

Edit: Oh wait. Realised it includes Wednesday numbers which makes it baseless.
